Blogger Comments not Showing Up

This post on Comments not showing up on my blog is a bit of a public service announcement. Starting yesterday, peoples comments that I approved are not actually showing up in the comments section of my blog…so don’t think I rejected your comments….i love ‘em all :-)

Hopefully Blogger and Google will get this problem resolved shortly…cause I love reading feedback and comments on my posts. It just gives life so much meaning to me.

Pura Vida!!!

Edit: Ok, so once I hit “publish” on this new post, all of the comments that I approved that weren’t showing up, showed up. I guess the trick with this new version of blogger is that you need to publish your blog in order to show your new comments. On the old version of blogger I only had to approve comments from my email and they would show up instantly, just like magic.

Go figure…I do like the slick new interface Google gave the new Blogger because of the clean lines but is the new version of Blogger any easier to use?

I’m still trying to figure out how to approve comments.

Hello, thanks for this post. I googled my related problem and this was the only real solution anyone offered…so, I ‘published’ my blog again as you suggested(I thought it was published already, I was getting comments before!).
So, here’s what I did (you might want to try this too?)- In ‘Settings’, go to ‘Publishing’. Ignore the ‘Switch to’ and ‘Blog*spot Address’ lines, and go directly to empty box at the right of the ‘Word Verification’ line. Type the word they have there and hit ‘Save Settings’. After this, I could see comments. If people left you comments since you started having trouble seeing them, you wouldn’t see those, but older comments and any new ones after re-publishing you’ll see. Well, at least I did.

I preferred the old interface, why they made things more complicated. Thank you for your post.
