Men have been taught that it is a virtue to agree with others. But the creator is the man who disagrees. Men have been taught that it is a virtue to swim with the current. But the creator is the man who goes against the current. Men have been taught that it is a virtue to stand together. But the creator is the man who stands alone.
I am sitting here on a flight from JFK airport over to Las Vegas, getting work done, because I have in-flight Internet access. Wow.
My plan was to check in to the Venetian, work for a few hours and try to meet up with my cousin Billy who happens to be there for work, but now, I don’t have to do any work when I get there! I have killed 3 hours of this flight being productive. That is good fun.
Sydney and I have been having a blast together lately. There is not much to say about this video of her babbling away and having fun with noises on the front porch. She is 17 months old in this video and we are about 8 days away from her 2nd Christmas. Check it out;
Summer and I got robbed at Shawn’s house in Rancho Santa Fe on Saturday morning. It was crazy. Two guys, definitely professionals, broke into the guest house while Summer, Sydney and I were sleeping. I woke up and walked out on them as they were leaving in our BMW with the keys they took out of Summers purse. I chased them down the driveway, called 911 and informed the guards at the entrance. That was at 5:45am.
Long story short, they stole about $10,000 worth of computers, cameras, iPods and our x5 BMW…plus my passport, company checks etc. and got away after a chase…but our car is bad ass. Security didn’t have a chance and the cops took 20 minutes to respond.
They recovered our car with the keys in the ignition this morning in a National park called Hellhole Canyon.
I started working on the Internet in 2001. I was a sales guy for a large company that sold directory positions to lawyer and doctors. I had drive and was hungry to be successful in life but I hated going to the office 6 days a week from 6:00am to 7:00pm. I had to put on dress clothes and walk the walk of a ‘profesional’ even though I never saw clients face-to-face.
After a year or two, I left that company and headed out on my own determined to work for myself and make a living from the Internet.
Here I am 9 years later, working on the Internet. I work from an office at home (in Puerto Rico) and this is what my office looks like when I travel and work from a mobil office.
So, as you can see by the post before this one, I was in the market for a child carrier backpack. I almost bought the backpack with the built in aluminum frame but ended up going with the less clunky ‘metro’ style child carrier backpack and got the Kelty TC 3.0 Child Carrier.
Kelty TC 3.0 Light Blue
Opening the box alone was awesome. It is a very well built piece of equipment and it demands your attention when you first look at it. All of the pockets are well thought out, especially the two pockets sewn into the waist band. It puts them and everything in them at a hands reach any time.
The strapping harness system is very sturdy and built of high quality material that you don’t mind you child bumping up against at 8 months old. When the child is fully strapped in, a parent can feel 100% in the integrity of the pack and their child’s safety.
The warning labels that come with all kids equipment these days are ridiculous, this one is the same. Make sure you read the 10 page easy to follow instructions, guide and warning before strapping your litte one in.
In my opinion, the best part of this thing is how much our daughter loves it. Really, she loves it. Check out the video of our daughter in the Kelty TC 3.0 Child Carrier.
Yeah, over the past 8 months I have really gone hardcore over this dad thing. It’s awesome and every day gets better and better. I recommend the Kelty Child Carrier to anyone looking for a packpack to carry their kid in!
