- Stefan Swell should build into the area Friday with chest high surf or so, peaking Saturday with slightly bigger conditions. The next swell hits SoCal Sunday, with surf more along the lines of head high plus. The third swell is due Tuesday, also with at least head high surf. Swell is imminent as the last of the storms (the third system due on the 24th) is just now coming to its peak near Pitcairn. Swell is on on the way. August 18, 2010
